The following are specific positions that are currently open: 

JDE EnterpriseOne Functional & Technical Openings, NJ or Chicago
Location: Eatontown, NJ, or Chicago area (30 miles west of Chicago).
Status: Full Time Employee

SMS has openings for two full-time JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Functional (Financial Module) & Technical experts with one of its manufacturing clients. The candidates can report to either the Eatontown, New Jersey or Chicago offices.

The implementation at the client organization is being done by a consulting firm, and the company is looking to hire four full-time JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Functional and Technical experts to take over the maintenance and operations of the system after deployment. The ERP system is being implemented with an SQL backend database using JDE EnterpriseOne Release 8.12.

Both Functional and Technical candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of experience working with JDE EnterpriseOne.

In addition, the Functional Analyst must have strong functional background in the Financial module. The candidate must have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. In addition to continued enhancement of the system, the functional experts will support the user community and resolve issues that may arise in the implementation. Experience with manufacturing operations is preferred.

The Technical Developer/Programmer must have at least 3 years of experience as a developer/programmer of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system and will be involved in administering the database (SQL) schema, maintaining, and developing reports and queries, etc. The candidate must have experience with JDE EnterpriseOne 8.12.

Salary will commensurate with experience and role and will range from $80K to $110K per year. The company offers excellent employee benefits. Domestic travel is required initially and once the implementation is complete travel will subside. The candidate can report to either New Jersey or Chicago offices and should reside local to the office they report to. No relocation packages will be offered.

Business Analysts with Technical Experience
Location: Downtown New York City, NY.
Status: Full Time Employee

One of SMS clients in downtown New York City (NYC) is looking to hire one or more full-time business analysts (BA) to define and document end user requirements and project scope, and assist with development. The business analysts must have strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. The candidate must have development experience using Java and must have experience with Visio, WebSphere, MQ, LDAP, Oracle, Web based applications, and Rational Rose.

The business analyst will work closely with the project manager and project sponsor to ensure the project scope is clearly defined. The BA will also work with the development team to communicate the requirements to them, ensure that the implementation meets the user needs, and assist with the development. The BA's must have prior experience working on web based applications.

Experience with banking systems is preferred. The company offers excellent health and retirement benefits. The work environment is excellent and employee retention is very high. Base salary will commensurate with experience and will range from $85K to $110K per year.
